Lunacy Disc Golf - Scorpion
An excellent example of vector art that does not always work, even when a single color. There were a lot of details, so making the final art as large as possible is always the best way to go in order to make sure it prints well and we keep the integrity of the art. Pointillism can work to provide a gradient effect to the art, but the smaller the gaps/dots, the more likely it will prove to be a problem during printing.
The initial design they sent in. Multiple elements were below our minimums and needed to be resized or removed in order for a clean print.
The second logo they provided. Changes were still needed in order to print all the detail.
The final logo that ultimately was printed. Lunacy XV was fully removed and LPDGC was enlarged and thickened for print.
The finalized logo on their chosen silicone pint color.
